Delicious Classic Cheesecake Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 24 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
4. Add sugar and vanilla extract, and continue beating until well combined.
5. Add eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition.
6. Mix in sour cream until smooth.
7. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the pan.
8. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the center is almost set.
9. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside with the door slightly open for 1 hour.
10. Remove from oven and let cool completely.
11. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
